The WSCF is a global federation of student Christian groups forming the youth and student
arm of the global ecumenical movement.
WSCF is ecumenical – welcoming people from all Christian faiths and traditions – encouraging
dialogue and action between students of diverse cultures towards becoming pro-active
in society and promoting positive change.
Since 1895 – now connecting two million members in over 90 countries – the Federation continues to provide
support to committed young students around the world to carry out humanitarian, justice and advocacy work
in their community, with the view of nourishing and cultivating their leadership skills and qualities
as tomorrow’s leaders.

The World Student Christian Federation is the oldest international student organisation, founded in 1895.
Throughout its history for over a century, the Federation has brought students together across theological and cultural boundaries — a context where young Christians from all churches and nations meet. As a global community "committed to dialogue, ecumenism, social justice and peace," WSCF calls its members "to faith in God, to discipleship within the life and mission of the Church and to help them strive for peace and justice in and among nations."
